On behalf of the staff of the Central City Zoo,
We insist you delist of the following todo.
When you asked of the task you may not have thought it through,
But to bath a giraffe, we are not equipped to do.
You had asked us of this task just a single time before,
And the strain gave us pain and for weeks are arms were sore.
Not denied, we still tried and then we tried some more,
But it seems we lack the means as I was mentioning before.
We had found that the ground was not the proper place to stand,
For our height was not quite enough to do the job by hand.
For that matter we’ve no ladder that would make the job a breeze,
with no lift we spent our shift only washing to his knees.
We surmise that our supplies are insufficient for the job
Supplied as you provide we fear he may appear a slob.
In conclusion this exclusion is to take effect today,
For resuming of this grooming we can find no other way.

Aardvark in the dark,
he’s waiting in the park.
He’s sticking to the plan,
a briefcase in his hand.
He’s making the exchange,
it’s all been prearranged.
The contact arrives soon
To make the switch at noon.
He is the man who get’s things done.
He keeps the bad guys on the run.
In a world of darkness he’s the spark.
he is the aardvark in the dark.
Approaching from the north,
His contact coming forth,
The code word leaves his lips,
The brief case leaves his grip
And as the switch is made
They go their separate ways,
Just one last thing to do
Transport it to HQ.
Action and adventure is his way
Serving his purpose day by day
When he shoots, he always hits his mark.
He is the aardvark in the dark.
He opens up the case,
A smile upon his face,
It’s full of things he loves,
Like termites, ants and grubs.
And as the mission ends
He gathers all his friends.
The aardvark has a hunch,
He’s just received his lunch.
He is the man who get’s things done.
He keeps the bad guys on the run.
In a world of darkness he’s the spark.
